The North Face Patrol GORE-TEX® Glove is designed after what ski patrol wears to stay warm and dry but also have great use of their fingers. Of course it has a GORE-TEX® membrane that is waterproof and breathable because when you need to stay dry there's really no substitute. PrimaLoft® insulation turns the heat up, but PrimaLoft® is also really low profile. Combine this with the Radiametric articulation and Fused Tip construction, and the Patrol Glove offers the dexterity you need for making on-the-hill adjustments

"What degrees in cold weather are these gloves rated to?"

"Most vendors do not weather rate their products as it depends on so many different things. These gloves have PrimaLoft®, which is the Cadillac of insulation, so they are not only super warm, but also lightweight. Combine that with GORE-TEX®, which is guaranteed to keep you dry and you've got yourself one awesome glove!"

"How do I size gloves? I usually just try them on, but ONLINE I need some help. I am 6' and wear size 10 shoes (for some gauge)"

"You measure the circumference of your hand around your knuckle area(not including your thumb) and that will give you an inch measurement. For men, a size small is 6.5-7.5", medium is 7.5-8.5", large is 8.5-9.5"."

No good for warmth. Rated: 1/5

I purchased a pair of North Face Patrol Goretex because I wanted a good pair of gloves that would keep my hands warm. I used them for the first time last week at a soccer tournament and was rather surprised. It was about 40 degrees and I decided since I was outside and it was rather cold, or southeast Texas, I'd put my super gloves on to keep my hands warm. My hands got uncomfortably cold. I couldn't believe it. I'm very displeased with my purchase and wouldn't suggest them to anyone unless you use them for a summer hiking trip and wanted to protect your hands from getting scratched. I'd suggest you go back to the drawing board with this model.
