"You can use this jacket underneath a shell jacket. During spring time it might be just warm enough."

"I have had a North Face jacket before and there were no washing instructions on it. I had the Oso one and there were fuzz everywhere! How do I properly wash it so there will be no fuzz shedding everywhere? "

"This jacket should be washed in cool water. You should not use any fabric softener when washing. Put it in the drier on a low heat or hang dry the jacket. If you wash it once more and the material is still shedding then you should contact The North Face and they can help you with their warranty program."

I bought the Oso thinking it would be most useful for milder weather, but I have been pleasantly surprised that it has kept me warm even in temperatures down to the high 20's/low 30's. When I wear it, I don't feel any air creeping in. It is so lightweight. The soft, furry fleece is so cozy, and I have experienced only very minimal shedding. I would say that the fit is true-to-size. I'm an 8-10 or med, and I ordered a size up large so that I'd have extra room for bulkier sweaters or sweatshirts. Perfect!

On Christmas Eve, after all gifts are opened, my 16 yr. old niece finds a note from Santa leading her on a scavenger hunt. At the end of the hunt is her main gift, which this year was her Plum Blue Oso Hoodie!! She loved the extra soft feel,the color & the cute fit, and her Mom loved the easy care instructions. My husband and I loved the free shipping, and the total happiness it brought our niece. Perfect ending for our Christmas Eve!!

We purchased a brown OSO Hoodie for my teenage daughter. She wears it EVERYWHERE!! My younger daughter has a Denali with fleece and I've noticed the fleece looks dirty where the fur of the OSO Hoodie does not! Very minimal shedding - only noticed when she wore a white sweater and then we simply brushed shedding off didn't even require a lint brush to remove. Sizing was true to size.
