how 'water repellant' are these boots in the snow?

This means that the boots will work great if you're walking through the streets after a snow storm and will not get your feet wet. But if you walk through slush or puddles your toes will get damp.

This boot does not have a heel. It does measure about a half inch up off of the ground to where your foot sits. If you're looking for a boot with more of a heel then I would suggest the Khombu Maple 2 Winter Boots!

The shaft is about 10" so this is only going to hit around mid-calf.

We do not offer these boots in a wide option. They are very comfortable and will fit a bit of a wider foot than most.

So lightweight and comfortable. Size is true to the world. I feel like I am walking on a cloud. Can't wait for the winter!!! :-)
Miami, but missing Breckenridge

I just returned from spring skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado and these boots were perfect. It was snowing pretty much everyday and my feet stayed nice and cozy and most importantly, warm. The fur trim gives them a very sassy touch so you're in fashion! I highly recommend them!

These boots are great for getting around on snow and ice, lighter weight than I expected. There is plenty of room to double up socks and wear with skinny jeans, but it's difficult to fit a boot cut over top.
