The North Face Diedre Ski Jacket is an agile stretch jacket that’s completely waterproof, insulated with lightweight, thermal insulation, and mapped with internal panels to promote airflow. The Diedre Jacket’s smart design includes stretch capability that extends from the shell through the lining and into the insulation. Lightweight, thermal insulation provides breathable warmth without bulk, and core vents allow even more cooling capability. A removable hood adds more versatility, allowing you to stow the hood away when the weather is fine and pull it out when things turn ugly. This is a jacket made for women who prefer a ski jacket with a style that’s as fast and focused as they are.

"On testing how waterproof a jacket is, there is no industry standard on that. The jacket is waterproof. This jacket is fully seamed. That is better than critically taped seam, where they tape the seams in certain key areas only. The jacket is breathable and has a stretch fabric as well. A lot of the features you see in this jacket is what you will see in a higher end Spyder jacket. It looks a lot alike in styling and features. "

"Also, two other questions, i have noticed on Diedre jackets for sale here in Australia, they have a north face logo on the back shoulder however i cannot see this in the picture displayed on your website. I hate to be a pain but can you confirm whether the jacket has this logo or not? Also in the picture on your website of the back of the jacket, I have noticed it shows something black on the back of the hood - can you please tell me what that is? Thanks :)"

"The black thing you see on the hood is the adjuster. This will allow you to tighten down the hood so that it does not move and it better protects you from the elements. This jacket does have a North Face logo on the shoulder so that everyone behind will see that you are wearing The North Face, it is just not shown in the image."
