"These gloves are really warm and pretty wind resistant, but they are not weatherproof in terms of waterproofing. "

"These gloves are strong and lightweight and the grip on the palm is really good. And they are really warm...however they are not waterproof, so they are not going to keep water out. Use them for warmth, but I wouldn't use them for skiing. "
