Does this jacket fit snug?

I wouldn't necessarily call it snug. The North Face calls this a "regular fit" which means that it should give enough room to move freely and be comfortable without being super baggy.

Fits slightly snug around the shoulders as the other reviews have stated but the bigger issue was the sleeves felt a little too baggy. Overall it fits true to size though.

This jacket is great for both! Its insulated and waterproof for the mountain.

Pretty warm jacket and the multi-layer aspect of it makes it comfy all around even in colder temps. I even wore just a t shirt with this jacket and fleece in 40 degree weather and felt warm.
