The North Face Apex Elevation Softshell Jacket is an everyday softshell made warmer with PrimaLoft insulation. Typically this style of jacket wouldn't be insulated, but for guys that live in colder climates The North Face created the Apex Elevation. PrimaLoft® is some of the lightest, most low-profile insulation around, so you still get that comfortable, non-bulky feel that you love about softshell. This jacket is also highly wind-resistant so cold gusts can't burst through and rob you of warmth.

- 4-way stretch fabric for freedom of movement
- 10 CFM fabric is highly wind-resistant (0 CFM is windproof)
- Removable hood for weather protection

I absolutely love this jacket. At first it doesn't appear it would keep you warm enough being it looks like a spring jacket. But once you put it on it's a complete different story. I no longer have to layer myself with two or three other sweaters or fleeces. This jacket does the trick. If I have it on in the house too long before I go out I begin to sweat.
The style of the jacket is very nice and it fits very comfortably. It's so nice it could be worn for a casual night out or just for skiing the highest altitude slopes.
I bought it through Peter Glenn and have to say it was a pleasure doing business with them.
