The Nordica Steadfast Skis are built for seeking powder in the trees and hiking off the lifts. This ski has a huge shovel for tons of float. The waist width is respectable too, but not so fat that it's tough to maneuver. This shape also reduces the turn radius, making the Steadfast ski surprisingly turnable on the groomed run back to the lift. The wood core is light so that you can easily hike with these skis. Camber underfoot provides stability and power when you're up on edge.
