"I am 53, 5'2" and 145 pounds. Have been skiing for a few years on Volkl Oceana, 142. I ski on the east coast and am not an aggressive skier. I've worked hard to ski blues decently and did a few blacks this season. I'd like a more solidly intermediate ski. This one and the Elan Zest QT at 152 seem great. What would you recommend/"

"Both skis are really great choices for you! And the size 152 is the perfect length. I'd say go with the Nordica if you ski a little bit more powder, go with the Elan if you ski more groomers. "

"I am 68, 5'2", 165 lb. I classify myself as a cautiously confident controlled skier of blues, groomed blacks and comfortable in up to 6" of powder. I ski the east, west, CA & Europe. Unfortunately my beloved ~5yr old 154 Nordica Drives with the CTI binding system (w/out rocker, I think)had a final tune-up. Do you think the above 2014 Nordica ski system with 30% rocker in 152 length will be a good replacement? I do want to continue to improve! OR do you recommend I try something else? Perhaps a lighter ski/binding system that would not sacrifice the stability I so enjoy. Also a lot of other skis are 30% reduced...can you do any better on the Nordica? "

"The 152 would fit you perfectly. This would also be a ski that you could have some serious fun on. Our prices are further reduced the more we go out of season so just keep an eye on this item and it may go down in price. If you purchase an item and the price drops within 30 days of your purchase then we will refund you the difference. "
