This mid-fat ski has an all-mountain rounded sidecut that's built to excel in choppy and unpredictable conditions. At a stable 80 underfoot, the Hot Rod Tempest is wide enough to float through powder and crud while remaining maneuverable in the moguls. The integrated XBI CT Bindings (X-Balance Central Turn Table) preserve the ski's smooth flex and help you turn the ski on edge for maximum power transmission and control on any surface.

I am an expert level skier, 180cm, 82kg. What is the right size in the Nordica Hot Rod Tempest - 170 or 178? (I was looking at the Head Peak 78 Pro 177 but you've sold out!!!)

I think the best size for you is around 170. This ski system have a traditional camber so you don't need to size up.

A great speedy and turning all mtn ski

I demoed this ski in Snowmass CO thanks to Incline Sports. I am an old fart who skis fast coming off an old pair of Nordica 0.0 of the late '90 version of early somewhat shaped skis. The skis are truly amazing and if you like fast and then screech to a slower speed to ski some bumps or just throw in some short turns for the excercise these are your skis.
