Is this boot reccomended for a beginner

You are correct! The flex index for this boot is the lowest 60, bu it is adjustable all the way to 70. That is perfect for a beginner skier.

A women's size 12 is a mondo 29. You should try men's boot in that mondo size.

Buying ski boots online is a very hard thing to do. Because of this we offer free return shipping on all of our ski boots. So if you were to get them and they did not work out we would return or exchange them for you free of charge!
