"Ordered the Fera Lucy pant .... in a 14p... it is cut slimmer through the leg and hips than I expected. I'm thinking of exchanging for this Nils L Annalise pant in a 16p I'm worried about 2 things.... how is the cut compared to the Fara? also worried that they might not be warm enough since they are rated a 4 out of 10 and the fera pant were rate a 6/10. I ski in the northeast where it can be quite cold. The Fera pant seemed a reasonable level of insulation."

"On the sizing, The "p" stands for petite. That means the cut on the leg and hips are made for a petite person. The cut varies from designer to designer. The variances are usually an inch to two inches. As far as the warmth concern of the pants. Most of your body heat is lost at the body core and head. So, even if the pant is less on the warmth scale, that doesn't mean that you are going to feel colder. A good next to skin thermal will keep in most of the warmth in. "

"Hi, I recently purchased a pair of North Face Freedom LRBC Insulated pants in XS short length (28" inseam), but they are still too long, but fit well in hips/waist. I'd prefer something slimmer/more fitted and not as long. Would this be a good alternative or do you suggest another style? Thanks!"

"The petite inseam on this pant is going to be the same as The North Face pant that you have. It sounds like you may need to take them to a tailor as most of the petite options that we have are going to be around 28". The only other thing I can think is that you may be able to fit into a kids ski pant. Just make sure to check the size chart to see if a kids ski pant would work for you based off of your measurements."

"I originally bout your Betty style in a size 4 and loved them but needed them hemmed. It was too complicated so I returned them. However I liked the slimmer fit because I'm petit. I can't find them in black petit. Do you think I would like the Annalise in a petit just as much? I want a slimming look."

"I ordered the Nils Lauren and it had a sheen to it. Does this pant have the same finish?"

"No, this pant will have a matte finish to it. It does not have any sheen to it at all. "

Well made pant, good quality, wide in legs

I loved everything about the pant except the size...and the style of the leg! Excellent quality, nice finish to the material, came in short (I am 5'), good price. Alas, it was too large for me; however, even if a smaller size had been available, the style is not for me. The pant is very wide, but straight, in the leg. Perhaps better for someone with a more athletic build? True to size fit and the short works for someone 5' tall. I'll try a different Nils style, perhaps a trimmer fit?

LOVE these pants!

It's so hard to find short ski pants. I'm 5'3" and have thighs. These fit perfectly. If only they came in a color besides black.
