Wear the waterproof shell alone in warm, wet conditions. Wear just the insulated liner for milder, dry conditions. For skiing in the coldest part of winter, wear both together for the maximum protection. The Element Jacket has 100g of insulation, which is mid-range, but it also has a heat-reflective ceramic membrane that maximizes warmth. 12-way stretch fabric provides the ultimate in comfort, and a bonded construction ensures top-notch durability.

"Yes, the matching pant can be viewed here Mountain Force Sonic Insulated Ski Pant. It is the same 'Poppy' Red Color. "

"How does that pant compare to the Beat, Rider or Sphere pants shown on the Mountain Force website? And do you carry any of the other 3?"

Question by JDA on 2/1/2013 - 7:56 pm
"We do not carry any of those other styles. They are all similar though in their core features (breathable, waterproof, stretch, insulated, etc). You will notice pockets, zippers, etc in different places but they are all very similar to the Sonic when it comes to the main core features of any of those pants. "

Question by VFR750FG on 10/14/2013 - 9:59 pm
"This is a fantastic jacket and it has a ton of features! It does have a stretch powder skirt, inner stretch wrist gaiters, 2 wrist hand pockets, and venting. However, the wrist gaiters do not have thumb holes and the venting is not directly under the arm. The venting is a little more towards the side of the body towards the chest area."
Answer by KellissaSweeting (Peter Glenn Staff) on 10/15/2013 - 2:53 pm
"I'm a 40" chest and a 34" waist. Would a 40 fit me? I don't plan on wearing anything bulky underneath, just winter compressioon tops. I feel like a 44 would be way too much."

"42 would be your ideal size. You can try the 40 and if it does not work for you then you can return it for a full refund. "
