"Is the neck lined with a soft material? Does the jacket have vents for warmer weather? Is 150g of body insulation normally adequate for skiing in the 'teens' with layering? Final question - General American size charts show me as a size 16, yet all of my old ski jackets in either XL or 16 are way too large and the larges (size 14s) still have room for layering. Should I try for a size 14 in this jacket? Are there enough size 16s in stock if I have to return it? Thank you! "

"First, this is a beautiful jacket!! The entire jacket is made of a really nice plush material, so while there is no fleece or other type of material lining around the neck, it is soft. The insulation is adequate for winter weather, especially if you are layering in really cold temps. This is strictly a winter piece though, there are no vents. For sizing, you really need to measure as we only have one of each size in stock. A size 14 is for a 41.5" bust/42.5" hips. A size 16 is for 43" bust/44.5" hips. It's really a beautiful jacket, I think you'll love it! "

"I would recommend a size 4. The size 2 would be a super tight fit. For more comfort I would go with the larger size."

"I am about to order this beautiful coat, but determining the shade of red is what is holding me up. It is difficult for me to tell on my screen exactly what shade of red this crimson shade might be. Is it possible for you to tell me if the red tends more towards a brighter with an orange tint to it or is it more pure red with no hint of orange?"
