The Marker pants have 60 grams of insulation vs the Malta's 40 grams. In this case the Marker will be a bit warmer.

This pant is made of 100% nylon which is somewhat giving but it is not considered a stretch pant, if you like these definitively take a look at theRoxy Energy Stretch Softshell Snowboard Pants they are great looking pants too!

I was wondering if this is true to size with other pants? I am normally a 0 or two in dress pants but a 25 for jeans. Would a 2P be the right size in these pants? (I need a petite bc Im short)

A size 2 sounds like it would work perfectly for you! You would still have just enough room underneath so that you can lightly layer.
