"There are two versions for the Helios Jacket: the insulated and the shell."

"Thank you for your answer. Does that mean I have to take the pass out of the pocket every time they want to scan it? "
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by billski on 2/23/2011 - 11:41 am
"The left pass pocket is typically for the lift systems that have automated scanners. A lot of resorts in North America have them, and they seem to be popping up more and more frequently. For a traditional lift ticket you would attach it like normal. "

"I'm looking @ the Marker Helios & Marker Zeus. Can you tell me how they differ, besides the obvious front pockets. Is one more for a Free-Skier/Boarder & the other more of a traditional Ski Jacket?"

Question by Bill on 3/14/2011 - 10:46 am
"The Helios is going to have that Gore-Tex water proof shell so you 100% know that this is going to keep you dry. However, it is just a shell with no insulation so you will need thermals underneath. "

"how true to size does this run? What size should I buy? I'm 6'0 190 lbs. Wear a size 43 suit coat. Need to be able to add a insulating layer like a nano puff underneath."

Question by odb on 9/7/2011 - 8:45 pm
"If you are a size 43 then you should get a size Large. This jacket has a slimmer silhouette so putting the nano puff underneath will keep you very warm."
Answer by Sarah (Peter Glenn Staff) on 9/8/2011 - 9:26 am
"Is the shell version of the Helios jacket identical to the insulated version (minus the obvious insulation). The same outer shell, inner lining, etc..."

Question by Dan K. on 10/20/2011 - 11:16 pm
"The Helios insulated jacked is wind resistant, but the Helios shell is 100% wind proof. The shell also has the Advanced Rescue Technology (RECCO) the insulated jacket does not. The logo also differs on the front of the jacket. "
Answer by alejandra (Peter Glenn Staff) on 10/21/2011 - 2:06 pm
"Is this jacket last year's model? I'm asking because I was at Ski Stop last night and saw pretty much the same jacket but the logo in the front actually read MARKER while this one has the M logo on it and the color code was LIME instead of BAMBOO. Is the color similiar and is the fitting the same? Thanks."

"I'm not sure which model you tried on, but this one just came out last year. If you saw it in a store recently, I would imagine that the fit would be the same."

"I normally wear size Medium in most apparel, but noticed that the size small in Marker fits 38 chest, and I am 37. Will the Small fit and allow for a fleece underneath? thanks"

Question by Scott on 10/24/2012 - 5:05 pm
"Given that you normally order a size medium and you do want to layer, you should try the size medium first."
