    The versatile Marker Griffin Shell Jacket is watertight right down to its seams and zippers. This high-performance shell has outstanding breathability and waterproofing properties to keep you dry from the inside out, whether you are hiking for fresh turns in the backcountry or freeskiing in the pipe. The Griffin allows your perspiration to escape so sweat won't buildup and then freeze up when the sun goes down. If you need to cool down immediately, just open the pit zips, or on colder days use the PowderShield connection to link your jacket's hem to your Marker pants and seal in the warmth.

      "Is this jacket insulated? I need a ski jacket for Northeast winters down to ~10-15 degrees. If not, are there other liners/vests that go with this product?"

      "This is not insulated. It is a shell jacket so it is really good at keeping you dry and is very breathable. This could work in those temperatures if you wore the right layers underneath and are a particularly active skier. If not you may want to keep looking for something insulated. "

      "In the sizing chart for this jacket it lists the chest measurement for an XL at 46". Other Marker jackets in XL are listed between 46" to 49". Is this jacket a true 46" or is it closer to 48"/49"?"

      "The XL will fit chest measuring 46 to 48 inches. The XXL will fit chest measuring 49 to 52 inches. To measure your chest with a measuring tape measure around the fullest part of your chest just below your armpits."

      "Go with what you know. If you normally wear a size XL in Marker jackets then that is what you should do. The centerback length on this jacket measures 31"."
