Q:
"I have two questions. Question #1. Someone earlier asked if these pants have zippers at the bottom in order to fit them over downhill ski boots - and you answered no. Does this mean these bibs are not meant for going skiing? This will be my first time skiing, so I'm confused whether these bibs will work or not with ski boots? question # 2: the product description says water resistant - is this good enough for falling in the snow lots of times as a beginner? I.e., will they keep me from getting soaked? Thanks. "
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Cybele on 1/23/2012 - 1:53 am
A:
""These bibs are definitely meant for skiing. They do not have the feature of the zippers on the bottom but they do fit over the boots and have gaiters so they stay in place. They have a water resistance of 3K which is on the lower side. I would say that they would be a great choice especially for a novice skier.""
Answer by Ron (Peter Glenn Staff) on 1/23/2012 - 12:14 pm
Q:
"Do they come up high on the sides. Some come only to the waist. "

"These are a full coverage bib that come above the waist."

Q:
"If I am 5'0, 118 pounds, and have a chest size of 35, would you suggest a Small or an Extra Small? I wear petite sizes of 2-4. I don't want it to be too long. "
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by JSnowstar on 1/7/2014 - 5:03 pm
A:
"The chest size is not really relevant here as your chest is not going to be restricted in a ski bib like this. It's better to check out the size chart that we have provided in the description which shows you the waist and hip measurements for all sizes. Find out what your waist and hip measurement is and then look at the size chart to see which size is recommended based off of your measurements. "

great fit, good value   Rated: 5/5

I am 5"4 125lb. I had the small which fit tightly around midsection but was OK with one layer of long underwear. I just ordered the men's small b/c the women's medium was out. The men's small fit perfectly with 4 layers underneath and had room in my hip and stomach which was great! I think the fit is pretty true to size and quality is really good for price. In above zero windchill weather I only wear these and one layer skiing so I think they warm too.

Product was exactly as pictured & described. It is below zero here with tons of snow and the bibs keep me warm & dry. Ordered wrong size on one pair - return was easy and credit issue was quick.

The pants run extremely small. I normally wear a large and had to return and get a 2X. Other than that, looking forward to using them!

17 degrees on school bus this morning and they are definitely better than my 20 year old bibs. Better quality, warmth, fit. I wear size 14 but had to get x-lg which is a bit long but doable.

I was afraid that the Small would be too short for me - I am 5'8" - but they fit perfectly. Appear to be excellent quality. I am most impressed with how quickly they were delivered! I used the free shipping method and they were in my hands within 2 days!

Will definitely shop Peter Glenn for my other outdoor needs...

Excellent top-quality product   Rated: 5/5

I bought these pants during the recent blizard in Washington, D.C. They are very attractive, expertly tailored, sturdy, and kept me warm throughout the day. The best part about them is that they are also very lightweight. My movements were not restricted as a result. And, I could easily put the pants on and take them off.

When I wore them to work, several of my coworkers wanted to know where I bought them. I told them about the PeterGlenn website.

I am very happy to have purchased them at such an affordable price, and I would definitely buy these again.

wished I'd read the earlier review, I orderd 3X and most would have been plenty big but couldn't get these up. Really liked the weight of bibs and feel.

Good fit, warm and comfy. Great for riding the motorcycle to work in 28 degree weather. Highly recommend these for any outside cold weather activity!

Nice quality - 2X - 3X runs small   Rated: 4/5

Very nice quality pants, great price, not too thick and bulky but I think the pants run small. I ordered a 2X and 3X because I wasn't sure and neither fit when generally a 2X will fit me.
