The best way top figure out what size you need is by waist measurement. The 3XL is 46-48 inches and the 4XL is 49-51

I currently own older Columbia XL bibs which fit perfectly. The Marker inseam is one inch shorter, not a big issue hopefully. Is the Marker more suited for the slender build?

I understand that both brands have a similar fit, true to size.

I typically buy a 34" waist size for jeans. Could you let me know what size of men's bib ski pants I should order ?
Thanks a lot. Ron

A 34 is a size medium.

Is the front side of the bibs suppose to actually cover most of your chest? I just got my size XL today of these bibs and when I zipped up the front it stopped directly between my check and belly button, so not covering all of my chest really. But according to my size and the sizing chart I should definitely be an XL. Just making sure I ordered these right?
Question by Aaron
11/10/2011 - 5:01 pm
As long as they don't feel too tight, then you have the right size. The top rim may hit around your diaphragm or may hit lower depending on how you have the shoulder straps adjusted.

the picture looks like there is a zipper up the front of the chest, I really like these except if theres no zipper at all in the front that means removing coat and upper bib to go to the bathroom, no front zipper at all?
Question by Wade

Sweet relief! This feature has been added! There is a zipper in front down to the nether regions which does open fully to the inside of the bib.

Do these bibs have a hook at the snow cuff to keep the cuff from riding up and snow getting in? If not, do you have another bib with that feature in 3X ?
Question by Berrnie
1/25/2012 - 9:06 pm
This is the only bib that comes in size 3XL and it does not have a hook on the cuff. The cuff does have the classic rubber stitch inside to help it grab onto the boot.

I just got these and used them for the first time to go skiing. These are incredibly warm, and the gaiters kept my feet and socks completely dry. The 2 zipper pockets on the front are very convenient and also very LARGE. And, to answer a question I had when purchasing these, the bottom of the pant legs, although they do not have a zippered opening, are large enough to fit quite well over ski and snowboard boots. Highly recommended!

I don't ski but I do ride my cycle in the cold weather. These bibs are just the thing for those frosty mornings this time of year. I am a big guy so I have to worry about various makers definitions of 3, 4 xl, etc. but these bibs fit me very well and with the zip opening in front they are relatively easy to get on/off. I would recommend them to anyone.

The Marker line of skiwear is just so well made and so well thought out. Most ski pants and bibs have pockets, but the Markers have them where they are most easily reached and most accessible. The zippers are heavy duty with strong zipper tab and a strong fused elastic extension. All zippers are also covered with an overlap preventing snow/moisture from freezing on the zipper. Over-shoulder straps are easily adjusted. Bibs kept me warm and dry. It is obvious this is skiwear designed/engineered by people who actually ski. I am 6'3", 230 and need an XXXL in skiwear. Marker makes the size and Peter Glenn had it in stock... even late in the season. Room enough, long enough... what a pleasure.

Needed ski bibs in extra large. These Markers are well made - just like the columbias they replaced from 90's that I wore out.
