What size coordinates with what age? I am looking for a mitten for a size 3T boy.

These go by age. Typically a small would fit a child in the 2-3 year range. This would likely be his size now, but if your son is particularly big for his age or you want them to fit next season you could go with the medium which is for ages 4-5.
