Q:
"My 2 year old has a hand length of 4.5" and 3 year old has a hand length of 5". What sizes do you recommend. They have long hands for the age so don't want to go just based on age. Thanks!"
Question by cathy on 11/18/2011 - 11:20 am
A:
"You are right not to go by the age in this case. For the 3 year old it looks like a XL would be a better fit and your 2 year old would fit in a Large. This is only based in length but keep in mind that the correct way of sizing for a glove is by width and the XL might be too roomy because it is designed for a 6 year old."

Q:
"What size would a ten year old be?"
Question by santamarina on 12/30/2011 - 9:06 am
A:
"A ten year old would be in kids or juniors sizing, not toddlers. You should check out the Kombi GORE-TEX® BT Gloves! A ten year old in this brand would be a size small."
Answer by Sarah (Peter Glenn Staff) on 12/30/2011 - 9:55 am
Q:
"My 4 yr old's hand is almost 5" long and about 3.5" width. Would u recommend a M or L?"
Question by BWR on 11/30/2012 - 12:11 pm
A:
"A size small is for a child 1 to 2 years old, a medium is for 3 to 4 years old, and a large is 5 to 6 years old. If your child hand is larger than usual than I would go with the large."
Answer by Sarah (Peter Glenn Staff) on 11/30/2012 - 1:54 pm
I debated on which gloves to get to keep the snow of of their arms/wrists. I decided these seemed okay and cheaper than other brands. However, when I received them and tried them on the kids I was disappointed. The elastic part was very loose...about an inch plus from arm. The finger lengths seem short and the thumb to index finger seems very long. I returned them the next day. FYI - I ordered a small for my 2 1/2 year old and a med. for my 4 1/2 year old. The overall "size" seemed appropriate, but see mention of lengths above. I'll be spending the extra money and getting a different brand.
