"I have this binding already. When the season ended, I relaxed the DIN setting. When I put the tension back on them (mine DIN is 5.5), does it matter if the boot is snapped in or not? "

"You would need to bring your boots and skis to a ski tech to be re-tested for safety. Legally I cannot suggest doing any adjustment of ski bindings on your own."
