Product Details

Style: CARBON 110

For the most aggressive skier, Kneebinding made the Carbon Ski Binding. This binding is reinforced with carbon fibers for extra rigidity and strength. It also has Kneebinding's PureLateral release feature that offers lateral release for backward twisting falls. This type of fall is the most common cause of knee injuries when skiing, and it's the type of fall that isn't addressed by traditional bindings. Unlike other brands that have tried lateral release, Kneebinding is known for their carefully-placed points of contact that reduce unwanted releases.

  • Brake width: 110mm
  • Carbon fiber reinforcement for added strength
  • PureLateral 3D release offers lateral heel release
  • Reduces ACL injuries as much as possible
  • Floating Mount System uses carefully placed contact points to prevent pre-release
  • Strategic platform placement for extra edge control
  • Din range: 3-12

A:
"Based on the information you gave me, you would want a ski size of 170. I would suggest trying one of the following skis: The Rossignol Sin 7 in a size 172, The Blizzard Brahma, The Head Monster 88, and The Volkl Kendo. One binding that I would recommend for you is the Kneebinding Core 90 because they are designed to detect the forces that cause most knee injuries and to release and help avoid those injuries, so they would be excellent for protecting your knees. A:
"Unfortunately, it does not look like the Kneebinding Carbon Ski Binding is going to be compatible with the Marker Piston Racing Bindings. You would want to get one of the Marker comp bindings to go with the Marker Piston Racing bindings."
