"What is the difference in fit between this coat and the New Age coat, and the Ray coat? I tired a size 4 in the Southside, which fit well. "

Question by Kim on 1/23/2012 - 2:03 am
"The only difference between these three jacket are the colors. One is a color block style and there is an asymmetrical style. According to the manufacturer their specifications are the same with the same features. A size 4 is equivalent to an extra small and they should all fit the same. "

"Thanks - but the "Ray" definitely looks shorter on the model. How long is the New Age, compared to the Southside?"
Answer by KIm on 1/27/2012 - 10:36 am
"The New Age is 24.5" whereas the Southside centerback measures 26.5"."

"What is the difference between this jacket and the oracle? "
1 Answers |
Question by Lynn on 3/15/2012 - 2:55 am
"They are really both very similar. The waterproofing and breathability are the same in both jackets. The Oracle does have a removable neck warmer. Technically that is the only difference. The Oracle costs more than the Southside because of the amount of pieces that went into making the jacket. The more pieces = the better the jacket will fit you. The better the jacket fits, the better you move. The striping on the sides of the Oracle aren't just for show, they make for a better fitted jacket that will move with you a bit more than the Southside."

"Does this jacket have a temperature rating? I'm wondering if it would do good in the -50's."
1 Answers |
Question by AKsam on 9/26/2012 - 1:26 am
"There is currently no temperature rating on any jackets. In this extreme type of cold, I would highly recommend a Canada Goose jacket, that are made specifically for that type of cold environment. You want a down filled jacket like the Canada Goose Jacket to be warm in a extremely cold environment. You can also look for other down filled jackets on our site. You also want to look into proper layering, as that is another important factor to look at, as well. "
