A subtle same-color checkered pattern covers the outside of the Kjus Checker Ski Jacket, but behind the scenes is a not-so subtle way of keeping you warm. Highly-technical Schoeller fabric features PCM technology. This material absorbs extra heat as it is earned during periods of high activity, and then releases it back inside when your temperature drops from sitting still on the lift. The ability to keep excess heat in check, and also add heat when you need it allows the Checker Jacket to keep your body temperature on a perfectly even keel throughout the day. As always, Kjus uses only the best PrimaLoft® insulation so that the low-profile and full-stretch nature of the jacket is never compromised.

What is pCm technology and how does it work?

Kjus is a high end brand with ski wear that really blows you away. It has great 4 way stretch fabric throughout the entire jacket. Even the lining and pockets stretch. The pCm technology is a material that can change from a solid to a liquid which helps to regulate your temperature. While you're cold on the lift or not being active the pCm will stay in a solid form to hold in your body heat. Once you get active and your body starts to warm up, the pCm will liquify to release to heat to regulate your body temperature. As you cool off it then starts the form back into a solid. Its like having a central AC unit in your home!
