Lots of skis say they can ride in both the backcountry and on the groomers, but the K2 Kung Fujas can really do it. True, the natural habitat of the Kung Fujas is powder, but don't forget about the sidecut and cambered zones that give you some grip on packed snow. The tip has a tapered design so it doesn't get snagged up in deep snow. The front 30% of the ski is rockered for lightning-quick navi through tight trees and narrow lines.
