Hi I was wondering if this item could be worn comfortably over my long johns and under my fleece or is it meant to replace one of the two?

This thermal top is a mid-weight base layer. It should keep you warm. It is meant to replace your long johns.

I like the product and have worn both Thermal tops while playing golf in 45 degree weather with 15 knot winds and did not feel cold or chilled. One complaint, both tops had to be re-sewn where the sleeve cuff meets the wrist (there was a gap in the stitching).

I have been wearing this model for a couple of years and find it great for a base layer. I usually layer it with a lite polar-fleece and than a gore-tex or similar shell, or heavier parka depending on weather. This product is well made and wears well after many washings. The only negative that I can say is that I don't think that the body length is proportionate to the size. I am compelled to purchase XXL but then the sleeves have to be shortened slightly! Good product!
