Kept Me Warm   Rated: 5/5

Bought these for a trip to Chicago in the middle of a cold snap with below zero temperatures and I was warm. Very happy that I had them.

Loose fit   Rated: 3/5

It's hard for me to say how warm they could or could not be, I just know that they were a little baggy. It says loose fit on the package but base layers shouldn't be loose in my opinion

Almost too warm for a hike up Algonquin in NY    Rated: 5/5

The hike up mt Algonquin in the High peaks of ny by Lake Placid Ny was almost too warm for the chilly hots. The day of the hike in late Feb got into the high 30's and low 40's, so
not the clothing's fault. It wicked well except under the gaiters, which you would expect. Very comfortable and my second pair since 1994. They wear well.
