The hike up mt Algonquin in the High peaks of ny by Lake Placid Ny was almost too warm for the chilly hots. The day of the hike in late Feb got into the high 30's and low 40's, so
not the clothing's fault. It wicked well except under the gaiters, which you would expect. Very comfortable and my second pair since 1994. They wear well.
Great base layer, Very light and comfortable but very warm as well. I will be buying more!
Purchased theses for my trip to Chicago. The Weather was -15 degres and snowing. These definitely did their part in keeping me warm.
