"The difference of the Hot Chillys Crewneck Thermal and the Hot Chillys Micro Thermal Top is that the Hot Chillys Micro Thermal Top is a more fitted top. It will also keep you a little warmer and has a Bio-Silver Antimicrobial treatment that helps keep odors from building up. I would get the same size as he would get in a t-shirt size. You don't want the thermals to be too loose fitted. "

I bought these online for my family and was concerned because I heard they were not very warm....not true! They are the best! They kept everyone super warm in the very cold weather of Canada where we went skiing this holiday. They were very comfortable because they are not bulky. I would recommend them to anyone!
