The Head Vector 115 is a stiffer ski boot designed for aggressive skiers. The nice thing about this boot is its customizability. To adjust the levels of stiffness you can crank the boots down or soften them up when simply cruising around. The heat moldable liner makes for a custom fit with your foot. The Head Vector 115 Ski Boot has turned out to be the most comfortable boot that I have had the pleasure to ski in. No break in period, no hot spots, and definitely no pain. Easy to get into, and dial in. Great feed back in any kind of snow condition, and we've had it all in New England this season already.
You might want to watch the lower buckles if you hit any hard chunky snow. One bent the buckle back a tad, but other than that, I can't say anything bad about this boot at this moment. Just hope it lasts a long time.
I am 60 years old and have been skiing now for close to 43 years. I consider myself a highly advanced skier. I bought these Head boots last year when skiing Cannon Mountain in NH. The only thing I can say is WOW. Coupled with my Rossignol Experience skis it handles beautifully. I have a slightly wide foot and the boot fits perfectly. Basically these boots are immediate actors. With them you just think about turning and they do. Great high performance boot.
