Volkl Mantra versus Head i.Peak 84?
Aggressive Skier that prefers lots of quick turns on moguls, powder, and backcountry and trees. Also, happen to be from Minnesota, so can't ignore the hard-pack reality, when I am not out West. Thanks in advance for suggestions.

These are a great choice! the early rise rocker and low turning radius will be perfect for those tight turns and the width is great for backcountry skiing while the intelligent fibers will be very useful for the hard packed snow.
