What model Head downhill ski boot would work for intermediate woman skier with large calf? My cousin has the Edge 8.0 and she also has a large calf and finds the boot very comfortable.

What you need is a boot with a low flex index so you can ride downhill many times and not get tired. However if you are concern about the calf width you might want to consider to buy a mens boot, these will fit a larger calf.

I have fairly wide calves and have just bought the Head Edge+ 9.5. I'm an intermediate skier looking to progress and I find these great, with a very comfortable fit.

I recently hired a Head Edge 8.5 mens ski boot size 25 which fitted well but was slightly loose around the heel. Is a women's size 25 the same fit?

A women's specific boot is narrower specially around the heel and the flex is usually softer, the narrower boot might do the trick for you!

Which year model is this? I don't recognize the picture, the 2011/2012 model is antrazite and not pearl... is this the 2010/2011 model, or older, or or is it an old picture?
