I wear AAA shoes so I have an almost impossible time finding ski boots. Even though these have a wide width, they are made on a last that conforms to ladies' feet so well that they feel really snug even with thin socks. Plus they have a really warm, thick, furry lining. After 12 days on the slopes, I have just begun to feel the lining pack out slightly. I added a foot cushion, and now all feels super snug again. The flex on these is for intermediate skiers (i.e. I could flex them if I really bent my knees). I'm a beginner, but I loved the fit. These come with a lot of adjustments--macro, micro, ''cant,'' arch, etc. I found the directions a little hard to understand, but I guess a good ski shop could assist if adjustments are needed. I'm 5'3'' with average/thin calves--the boot height is fine on me. The soles are very easy to walk in but you can add Yak/cat tracks, if desired. These boots work fine with skimojos, and kneebindings. The black and red (really maroon) is attractive, though not show stopping as is the Dream 10.5 in white/gold. The linings self air dry in the boots overnight. Bottom line, these were totally comfy straight out of the box, and needed no adjustments to fit my skinny feet. I will probably never buy anything else but the Head Dream series.
