    Q:
"I need to learn the process of acquiring a custom ski boot for my spouse, age 59. Last time we were skiing, her rental boot hurt her foot so much, she turned in her multi-day lift ticket, and returned to the Condo. She does not have any known foot problems, ie. Corns, bunions, raised arches, etc. Please help us!"

"This boot would actually be great for your wife. This boot is specifically designed for a woman's foot which a lot of boots are not. Also, these boots include heat moldable liners so her boot will fit perfectly to her foot."

"A 7.5 will be a 25.5. I would stick with the 25.5 as that is the boot that you say you wore last year!"

"yes because I wear an 8 1/2 shoe and a 24/24.5 is perfect I would think the 25 would get to spacious after a while of skiing!"

    Q:
"HI, I am tossing up between this boot and the 9.5. Can you give me some ideas of the differences. I also noticed this has a flex of 80-90. How is this changed from one to the other and how much stiffer than the 9.5 is it? Thanks, Carlyle"

Question by Carlyle on 9/19/2011 - 10:11 pm
    A:
"The flex on this boot is 80-90 which is going to be much stiffer than the 9.5 which is only 60. The stiffer the boot, the more control you have over your direction and the faster the response. Usually beginners start with a softer flex rating and work their way up to a higher one. "

    Q:
"I bought this boot in a 22.5 same size as all of my boots in the past. the boot is crushing my toes! I have tried skiing in it about 10 times and they are not getting any better. Ideas please on what I can do to widen/stretch the toe box. Thanks!"

Question by Felicity on 11/3/2013 - 4:03 pm
    A:
"This is a more advanced boot so it is meant to be stiffer. I would recommend getting it molded to your foot for a better fit. That might give you some extra room. You could also look into getting an insole like the Superfeet Green TTF Footbed. It helps to give your toes a break and keeps your arch supported. "
