Kids get snow absolutely everywhere which is why Grandoe added an extra-long gauntlet to the Extendermitt for toddlers. The gauntlet goes over the jacket cuff making it much easier to put on and adjust and uses elastic to stay put and keep out snow. Durable MicroPlus fabric will stand up to the abuse of even the most adventurous kids, and Vapor Barrier fabric is waterproof and breathable to keep hands dry.

do any of the toddler or child's mittens have articulated fingers inside. My grandson hates mittens because he cannot hold things easily but gloves are too cold!!

These mittens are pretty cute but unfortunately they don't have those articulated fingers! Check out these gloves, you said they're too cold for your toddler but these have a great insulation and are really waterproof so they they will stay warm. A 5 year-old is a size M. If she is big for her age or you are concerned about how long they will fit, you could size up.

The sizing for toddler gloves is for ages 2-7. 2/3 is a small, 4/5 is a medium, and 6/7 is a large. Sorry for any confusion.
