"I usually wear an 8 in regular jackets and sometimes a 10 if I am wearing alot of layers, just wondering if I should get an 8 or 10 in this ski jacket? And is it truly warm 9/10?"

Question by Sandra on 9/25/2013 - 1:32 pm
"This is a down ski jacket so the warmth is definitely a 10/10. This is a fitted jacket. An 8 is ideal for a women with a chest of 36" and a waist of 28". A 10 would be ideal for a woman with a chest of 37.5" and a waist of 29.5". Fera does account for you wearing layers so you would need to go by the measurements I gave you."

"How does the roll-out hood work?"
1 Answers | Answer Question
Question by Sarah on 12/23/2013 - 12:47 pm
"The roll-out hood is tucked under the collar of the jacket when not in use. It has 3 Velcro attachments that keep it tucked in place. This creates a beautiful, full collar on the jacket. When you want to use the hood, simply undo the Velcro and ta-da! There is now a hood!"

Beautiful jacket, but...

This is a beautiful Fera ski jacket, made with great quality materials, it is a very nice color, and it felt great on. However, I think it is more of a street wear type of jacket rather than a technical ski jacket. It would definitely work for a casual/occasional skier. I thought that the fit looked too big, and it didn't hang correctly. I wish it would have had wrist adjustments to accommodate the sleeve length. I like a jacket to be a bit roomy for layering, but it just won't work for me, unfortunately, I will have to return it though, I most definitely recommend it for the right person! I am sad to have to return it.
