The fit will be as show on the model, a couple of inches below the belly button.

These pants would match really well with the Fera Claire Insulated Ski Jacket! They do have a slight print of them that really gives them a great look.

I see these are elastic in the back of the waist, do they look "old ladyish"? Also, I prefer a lower rise, what is the exact front rise in inches?

These pants are a high rise to keep the snow out. The come just above your belly button. Many of the ski pants have adjustable waists which is a ski fashion essential. Most of the time your jacket will cover your pants.
