I want to order this jacket, but I need your help on the size I should order. We ordered large Volkl it was tight on chest but ok on the sleeves. I am Large on Marker and Columbia jackets, please advise. Thanks
Question by Gonzalo

Both Volkl and Descente have more fitted apparel, based on the size of the Volkl I'm suggesting that you go with the XL in this jacket.

Hy, I'm interested in this jacket but I'm not sure about the size. I am 1.86 m height and 88 Kg. A suggestion for the size will be most welcomed.

I would suggest taking a look at the sizing chart Descente has provided located to the right of the product picture. That way you can match up your personal measurements with the measurement of the jacket size that will fit you best.

I'm confused on the ski book pass. The ad says it comes with a pass book - but one of the answers to the question indicates, no. Also there is a reference for holding a phone or MP3 - but is there sufficent storage to do so?
Question by Ann

this jacket comes with the ski book for 2011/2012 ski season. Being that this jacket has numerous pockets, there shouldn't be a problem with carrying a cellphone or mp3 player.

I'm 5'11", and an athletically built 180lbs. Normally wear size medium in most jackets. Large sound about right for this? Don't want anything overly bulky or baggy. And it does include the passport book, correct? I see conflicting answers below.
Question by Chris

This jacket definitely has the passport book included with it. All you have to do is register online with the passcode from the booklet and you are sent out lift tickets! If you are using the sizing chart to find your size then it should fit perfectly!

Any lift passes to Boyne mountain w/ this jacket? Always been a DNA kind of guy and this choice seems like such a great value! Is the lime more of a yellow or green? Looks more on the yellow side...thanks!
Question by CE

You are in luck! According to Descente, lift passes to Boyne Mt/Boyne Highlands are included. The lime color is more on the mellow yellow side.

Have looked at a few of these jackets. I've seen tags stating "Heatflex 40" and "Heatflex 100". Are there different weights of insulation offered? Tried asking Descente, but their website is deplorable-cant send my inquiry. According to their site, the Trek comes with the 100 rating. Any Descente experts there?
Question by GS
3/1/2012 - 6:43 pm
Heatflex insulation is a blend of 100% polyester and unique microfiber which effectively traps air and reflects the body's heat. The Descente Heatflex system provides maximum warmth and is available in three weights, allowing you to choose the ideal ski jacket insulation to suite your needs. The Trek has 100grams of insulation.

excellent ski jacket

I spent almost three days searching the internet for a good ski jacket at a very good price. I got this jacket for 35% off, and a passport book with over 35 free lift tickets. I was very happy to find 4 lift tickets for Salt Lake City area resorts. I like everything about this jacket; the color, style and the quality are very good. Thank you for great service and a great company. I will give you five stars and recommend Peter Glenn to all my friends.
