The Columbia Droid jacket is a waterproof, insulated jacket with all the features he needs for long days on the snow. "Has anyone temperature-rated this product? I don't see a number on the Columbia web site. This is for my 8-year old skiing all day at Tahoe, so typically around 25-35 degrees..."

"Unfortunately they don't temperature rate because it is different for everyone. This jacket has a 100g insulation which is warm and also Omni-Heat which reflects your body heat back in for extra warmth. As long as your child is wearing the proper breathable layers underneath, this jacket should be appropriate in the temperatures that you listed."
