"I normally wear a 12 or 12.5 medium in regular shoes and sneakers. I've tried on Merrells in a 13 and with a winter sock found them a bit short and cramped in the toes. Are Columbias a similar fit? Would these wide ones give a bit more room that other Columbia Bugaboots, or would they be too wide? Thanks."

"The Merrells do tend to run small and usually I recommend sizing up at least a half size when ordering them. The Columbias happen to run the same and you should size up as well. When going for a wider shoe you need to be careful because if it's too wide then there is too much room which can cause a new set of problems."

"I have an extra wide foot usually wear a size 10 4e. Would this columbia bugaboot be thew one for me for cold weather and snow. Also in what size-even 10 4E can feel tight depending on brand?"

"This is the widest boot we carry, if this doesn't fit nothing we have will. 4E is a wide foot to accommodate and this might be a little snug still. This is a standard wide boot."

"I have been wearing 3 pair of socks with my old boots. Will I be able to wear less pairs with these and that should make a difference as to what size I need?"

"There is no reason why you would need three pairs of socks with these shoes, the Omni-Heat® thermal reflective material keeps body heat inside and insulation will give you all the warmth that you need. Get the same size as your favorite pair of sneakers. "
