the size chart is xs, s, m, l, xl.. to order is says 3, 5, 7, 9, 11. Which size is medium?

A size 7 would be equivalent to a size M.

Size 11 would be equivalent to a size Large. Here is a Sizing Chart to check for measurements under the large size.

Size 11 is closer to a size Large. Check the measurements under the Size Chart for large and XL. If you are closer to a size XL, then a size 11 may be too snug. We always suggest to size up, rarely to we ever suggest to size down.

I absolutely love this jacket. I use it for every day, not for snowboarding. I have to say it really keeps me warm in windy and chilly NY winter weather. It looks fabulous and is very comfortable. And looks much better in real than in the picture!
