The Burton Terrapin jacket is an amphibious addition to your gear closet, lightweight and packable enough to keep with you so you’re ready for rain at any time. Durable, waterproof ripstop fabric stops water, and sealed seams provide an extra layer of waterproofing support. Plenty of ventilation and a mesh lining keep the air moving in the jacket and out through the breathable fabric, so you stay dry even when you work up a sweat. Keep the water where you want to be: outside.

- Critically taped seams seal moisture out of the seams that are most likely to get wet

"This is a lightweight jacket, suitable for Fall and early Spring temps. Most manufacturers don't give a specific temperature rating because it depends on so many things. This is a good layering jacket, so to get the best warmth out of this jacket make sure you are wearing good base layers and a breathable midlayer (like fleece)."
