What burton boot and binding would go best with the Burton Deuce Snowboard 159. Would I need a large binding for a size 10. I'm buying as a xmas gift for my boyfriend.

The choice of boots and bindings is rider's preference on style and riding ability. Any boot and binding will work with this board except EST bindings. A medium size binding fits up to a size 10 boot. Since boots and bindings are so personal and need to have a perfect fit to maximize his experience on the hills I would recommend that he picks his own gear. Check out Burton AWOL Snowboard Boot (Men's) as a start and I personally like the Burton Custom Snowboard Binding (Men's) style#232231. Give us a call and we will help you set him up with the best options.

I have been riding this binding for years, works great for the price.I currently ride a Salomon Ace (155) and a Burton Royale (158).I have noticed with the royale though that response time, etc isnt the best.I need a better binding that is going to give me more control on the mountain, any recommendations?

If a stiffer binding is what you are looking for then Burton Cartel Snowboard Binding (Men's) Style#252175 should suit you, it has a Burton flex rating of 7 out of 10 and the live hinge allows you to adjust your Forward Lean and hi-back rotation independently. If you want a more subtle increase in stiffness then the Burton Mission Snowboard Binding (Men's)Style#252190 with a flex of 6 will work too!

My 12yr old son snowboarded in the neighborhood with a toy board all last winter. Now I'm looking to get him his first real board for Christmas so he can go to the local ski resort and do some real snowboarding. He is 5'2", 97lbs and wears a size 7.5. Would the Burton Hero Smalls 130 be a wise choice? What binding and boot would you recommend?

Yes, the Burton Hero Smalls is a great choice for his first board. As far as boots and bindings go there are so many great systems that it's really a matter of what type of boarding he is going to do. Is he more into speed and distance or is he more interested in the parks and tricks. I would suggest you try to get as much information as you can and start with Burton. They make great equipment!

You would need a size Large. That color combo would look super awesome! Adding a pop of color to your setup is a great way to get some attention out on the mountain!
