This pant is highly waterproof and the exterior seams are taped so when he's sitting, kneeling, or even rolling in the snow moisture won't seep inside. These pants have extendable cuffs which can be let down once he grows. The Burton Exile Pants are also super durable so they'll last as long as they fit.
