"An XL has a waist of 40-42" and a XXL has a waist of 43-45". "
Answer by Sarah (Peter Glenn Staff) on 10/18/2013 - 9:44 am
Q:
"My question is what is the waist size on the 4XL pants. The size chart only goes up to 3 XL which says 48 – 50 inches. Further looking at the size chart for 2XL says the waist is 44 – 46 inches. Assuming the same incremental increases which is 2 inches between sizes and a 2 inch range within the size, one could conclude that the waist on the 4XL pants is 52 – 54 inches. Is that correct? Also it would appear that the waist is somewhat adjustable over a 2 inch range. Is that correct? Finally, what is the inseam on the 4 XL pants?"

An outstanding product. Excellent warmth and flexibility. The number of pockets are a plus as I use the pants when going ice fishing. The seams are sturdy and reliable. A bit stiff at the first use, but very comfortable now.
