The inseam for the size 8 is about 29". We do not have a size 8L in stock so I am unable to get that measurement for you.

Because of the stretching capabilities of this pant you would be ok with ordering a regular size. They look really great on a variety of women!

Will these pants be warm enough/ waterproof enough for an entire day of skiing, or in the end, do you always want to go with the windproof, traditional ski pant? (ie, not stretch)

These pants are a shell pant however they are lined with a warm fabric. For colder days you may want to throw a thermal layer underneath. These pants are not fully waterproof just water resistant so I wouldn't suggest these for wet conditions. It really depends on the conditions and weather you are skiing in whether you need a stronger water proofing or if these would work for you.

The pants look great. But I have never worn stirrup pants before. Does the stirrup become uncomfortable in the ski boot after a whole skiing day?

I would say that these pants are one of the most comfortable ski pants that we have in stock. The stretch material the pant is made from is really form fitting and soft against your skin. The stirrups are also made from a high quality fabric with elastic so it makes these pants comfortable to wear all day.
