Bogner Elaine pants are a modern take on a Bogner classic: true ski-bunny, stretch, in-the-boot ski pants. Slim, trim, and sexy, these classic pants are now offered in thoroughly modern softshell fabric. It's a three-layer system of shell, laminate, and fleece, bonded to give full freedom of movement while keeping you warm and dry. The higher waist keeps the pants up and snow out, and the side-zip entry keeps your middle trim and secure. Stirrups on bottom of the leg keep the pants securely in place inside the boots, so you look as good walking back into the chalet as when you did when you confidently walked out.
- Softshell fabric is water and wind resistant, while maintaining excellent breathability
- Fleece backing provides warmth without bulk
- Softshell fabric stretches, giving you a full range of natural movement

Q:
"Can you ski in these pants with only thermal underwear underneath?"
Question by New to ski on 4/21/2011 - 4:35 pm
A:
"This is a stretch pant with a very thin fleece insulation. Using a thermal layer underneath might be difficult, unless you try with the CWX thermal tights. "

Q:
"Hello,
I am 5 81/2 inches tall and weigh 118. Would I be a 6L or an 8L??"
Question by Kitty on 12/7/2011 - 8:10 am

"Both the 6L and the 8L have the same inseam which is 31" You would want to go by your waist size in order to select the correct size."
Answer by Ron (Peter Glenn Staff) on 12/7/2011 - 5:19 pm
Q:
"Does Bogner or any other brand you carry offer a women's stretch pant for racing? They used to be readily available but seem impossible to find these days. Thanks."
Question by Joe on 1/7/2012 - 9:00 am
A:
"That is a hard one! Our racing gear is very limited and at the moment we do not have any racing pants. The closest pants we have to what you need is the
AFRC stretch pants. "

Q:
"What is the inseam of the Bogner Elaine ski pant in 8 and 8 long. I am 5 feet 71/2"
Question by Linda on 2/29/2012 - 7:31 am
A:
"The inseam for the size 8 is about 29". We do not have a size 8L in stock so I am unable to get that measurement for you, it can be up to 2 inches longer."

Q:
"I love this style but am only 5ft so need a petite or a pant that can have the length shortened. Any possibility of this in this style? "
Question by Didi on 10/7/2012 - 4:19 pm
A:
"We do not carry this pant is a petite size. If you have an excellent seamstress they may be able to shorten it for you. I would bring a picture of the pant to them first so that they can tell you if this is possible or not. It should be okay."

Q:
"What is the waist size of the 8, 10, and 12? I wear a size 6-8 pant, but I know that Bogner sizes run small. Also, does the waist stretch or is it fixed?"
Question by Lori on 11/30/2012 - 11:47 am
A:
"The entire pant has a bit of stretch to it. For your best size, I would recommend taking a look at the sizing chart
here."

Q:
"I wear a 24 waist will the 4 fit me "
Question by patsy on 12/9/2012 - 3:44 pm
A:
"These pants have stretch to them so they are made to be slightly smaller. The 4 should be ok for you."
Answer by Sarah (Peter Glenn Staff) on 12/10/2012 - 3:30 pm
Q:
"I am 5' 4", 110 LBs and my hip is 35". Would a size 4 or size 6 fits better? I would love to wear it for skiing and also apres' ski, not sure if the pants alone will be arm enough so we need a baselayer. I would assume it's waterproof. Thanks!"
Question by Meena on 2/22/2013 - 4:55 am
A:
"These pants do tend to run a little small. I would double check with the sizing chart to make sure you would not have to size up. Depending on the weather you probably would need a base layer. These pants are water resistant not waterproof. They would be perfect for dry and mild conditions. "
