If you like to tear up groomers but also want to venture into the deeper tree runs you'll love the Blizzard Magnum 7.4 Ski System. These all-mountain skis have a solid edge and an IQ integrated binding system which makes them really agile and fast from edge to edge, but the tip is made extra wide to give you the float you need in the deeper snow. For the sidewalls Blizzard used the same technology they use in World Cup racing skis to give you an incredibly solid edge and good torsional rigidity.

Would this ski in a 170 be stiff enough for a 180 pound intermediate-advanced skier who is 6 feet two inches tall and skis mostly groomers and harder snow in the East?

This will be perfect for you height and skills, the construction on it will let you take it to the groomers and hard pack.

The waist and tips for the Blizzard Magnum is more for groomed and deep powder skiers. This is an "all mountain ski" But for hard packed snow I'm not sure the side cut is going to be as aggressive as you would like it.
