Atomic Blackeye Ti Ski System -

Product Details

Style: ASYS00566

Feel the difference of Titanium in the Atomic Blackeye Ti Ski System. With titanium reinforcement you get more torsional stiffness and more "ski" under your foot. Take the Atomic Blackeye up to speed on a steep frontside run to feel the smooth stability that this technology offers. Also notice the 82mm waist width that makes this ski a fantastic carver, very agile, and also more versatile than purely frontside skis. Combined with rocker at the tip, you get enough float so that when you see a deep stash hidden in the trees you can jump right in without worrying that you'll be sinking. Step Down sidewalls give you excellent leverage over the ski, and make the Blackeye Ti a totally responsive and aggressive all-mountain ski.

Specs:

  • Design: All-Mountain
  • Camber: Reverse-camber Adaptive Rocker/ traditional camber blend
  • Ski Dimensions: 125.5-82-110.5 (size 174)
  • Turn Radius: 16m (size 174)
  • Binding: XTO 12 Binding included

Features:

  • Rockered tip for additional float and effortless agile turns
  • Adaptive Rocker lifts when the ski is weighted and engages the full length in turns
  • 2 layers of Titanium add torsional stiffness and response
  • Full wood core is light and responsive
  • Step Down sidewalls for good leverage and energy transfer

I currently own ski Atomic R10s, but am looking to upgrade. Will this ski similarly? I am a lazy expert, all black east coast, black and blue out west.

The Blackeye would be a nice upgrade for you. You could also look at the Atomic Smoke Ti, the Volkl RTM 80, or the Head i.Peak 84!

Statement: I just skied Heavenly at Lake Tahoe for 6 days last week on these skis (181cm) and they were AWESOME! They excelled in packed powder as well as two feet of powder in the glades. Buy them and ski them hard, you won't be disappointed!
