"3-in-1 means that you can wear these pants 3 different ways. The pant has 2 layers, an outer shell layer and an inner removable fleece layer. Wear the pant with both pieces, with just the shell, or with just the fleece. You can really get a lot of use out of 3-in-1's and they are great all year long because you can remove and add pieces as you need them!"
